oil leak question from a newbie

I have a 92 4runner v6 with a 5 speed and after fixing the oil leaks from the crank case cover i noticed more leaks coming from the drive side of the engine. specifically i think it's the oil cooler (the round piece that's on the side of the engine). at least i think it's the oil cooler. it has a single big bolt in it and some hose connecting to it.

my question is, is it often for that piece to leak? if so how hard is it to replace? i am okay when it comes to back yard mechanical skills. swap out the CV joints, removed the intake manifold to replace the crank cover gaskets, etc. just want to make sure this job isn't something i will SOL once i get started.

thanks!
