Exclamation Oil gauge all messed up

Okay so I just put a new cluster from an SR5 adn everthing was okay, then today I noticed the oil gauge was not regestering. Before anyone asks, yes, I changed the oil pressure sending unit. When I start it the needle goes up a little (1/8th on the gauge). I just changed the oil and the filter and they are not leaking, also checked the entire engine and no leaks. Can anyone help? It drives okay but I don't know if I'm risking anything by driving ike this.

Just a quick question, I bought this off eBay from a guy who said he had 2, is there chance that he hooked it up with the old oil pressure sending unit and damaged it, then sold it to me? Is there a wat to tell if that happened? I traced the wire back from the sending unit and it looks good? and advice?

I just got a SR5 cluster on eBay and I just happen to have it apart on my desk right now. I'm not sure if this is a good oil pressure gauge or not (I've not installed it yet) but if I measure ohms across the meter I get 52.7 ohms. I think if it were burned out you'd get infinite (open, etc).

To check, remove the face and look directly at the meter from the front. You will see an arm attached to the needle shaft wrapped up in white wire. One lead goes to a connection above, the other lead goes below. Measure where these connections are made with a multmeter set on the low ohms range.
