Not sure what to do

I have a 1986 Toyota 4X4 (22RE) with 160,000 miles. The engine needs to be rebuilt. My question is - is it worth fixing? The body is in fair condition but I hesitate to put a few thousand into a rebuild for a truck that old. I am sure there are other issues with the suspension, etc. I would like opinions on this to help me decide. Thanks.

if you are mechanically inclined and have some time you can rebuild it fairly cheaply, it cost me under 1k to rebuild my engine myself, including new headers and a performance cam. what kind of suspension problems do you think it has? unless its a major issue with the suspension i would say go ahead and rebuild it.
