Well, I fixed the problem FINALLY. I'm not exactly sure what did it, because I worked over pretty much the whole intake system oiling the joints and re-tightening the clamps. I also lifted the plenum and gobbed RTV sealant around and on the gasket. I think it's possible that the mating surface was scuffed a bit from removing the old gasket, so this is probably what did it.
