On my 91 22re , when the weather is warm and the truck has been driven a while the clutch release bearing will rattle when idling in neutral. Now by pushing on the pedal just slightly the noise goes away. I dont want to adjust what little play is in the pedal out and have a constant presure on the presure plate. Any ideas on cause and remedy appreciated.

The only remedy for a noisy release bearing is to replace it. I would just live with it until the clutch needs replaced.
