I'd think the switch is bad. Or the contacts "corroded" not making a connection in the switch. You could take it apart and clean the surfaces and see.

before you start taking the steering column apart, just pop out "connector B" http://personal.utulsa.edu/~nathan-b.../4lighting.pdf and check the turn signal switch for continuity (and for power in the other direction).

As with any electrical issue, you're wasting your time without a multimeter. Don't have one? No excuse for that! http://www.harborfreight.com/7-funct...ter-98025.html

Thank you scope 103. I do have a meter actually just bought it at advanced. I'm having alternate problems also but the blinkers went out way before. Any ways thought I would tackle the blinkers while it was off and getting rebuilt.

I will crawl under and check that out first.

OK so I checked the port 8 and port 9 both have 12 volts going to them,

What's next step? Taking the assembly off and cleaning the contact's?

Welp took the assembly off and apart cleaned all the contacts will fine grit and paper, put assembly back together plugged it in and????????? Nothing!!!!!!

went back through chased wires to the plug and no power to the blinkers. Everything else works perfect.

So I made a jumper wire found the hot wire that supplies the blinkers and lights touched the middle wire where its soldered and the damn high beams come on.

My thinking was that I could splice a new hot wire to the blinkers........maybe from the hazards?

Anybody else been in these boots before. Open to suggestions. I'll try to post some pics
