Newly bought 88

So instead of buying that other pile of junk, I bought this 88, 129K, 22RE, 4x4 5SPD XtraCab. Decent shape, the whole rear of the frames boxed already (plus), beds kinds rusted out, fixable tho, no tailgate (ive always wanted to try and make my own), and needed a door with internals for windows, and a window, fenders, brakes and paint. I have to get one more OEM wheel, but for now, this works.

Had to cover the window somehow untill i got that red door, haha

I've always loved those older extended cabs. Looks like you have some work ahead of you, good opportunity to paint the whole thing the color of your choice.

I did want a project. The original color of the truck is white, so that's the main paint color. Trying to go for a white/black/chrome color scheme. The new fenders should be here next week. Gonna do some bodywork on the bed later. Its really gonna be a woods/spare truck. The frame and engine are solid, just a slight valve tap at idle, or its something with the timing chain, haven't dug into it enough yet.
