Unhappy Newbie Problems!

I wonder if this other problem i just found it my 95 4Runner 4X4 V6 has, is related to this https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...roblem-140093/

From the earlier post, i rigged it and drove her around town.

Today
I heard this tapping noise coming from here. Normal or DIY fix?

She ran fine. When i got to a stoplight, i started smelling a slight odor coming through the vents. I got home and popped the hood and seen mist of smoke coming from this location here

I looked under her, and seen nothing leaking. Went inside for a few minutes and seen some drops of oil?on the ground here

I got under the truck and seen this. something is leaking

I then checked oil dip stick which is full. I checked the radiator reserve. Im so use to seeing green

Any Help would be greatly appreciated. I know some about cars, but not a whole lot so please be detailed step for step. I just want to get her running. She is not over heating

Thanks

Looks like you have an oil leak somewhere. It's hard to tell where it's coming from in the pics.

Take it to a local shop and they should tell you whats wrong with it.

It is the valve cover gaskets most likely. Or the rear main seal. Thoes two go bad on the 3.0 4runners.

Are they easy to replace? I will do a search and see if there is a way to do it. Hopefully it's not that hard. I dont have a service manual but i did download it off this site

The thing is she doesnt leak if she sits in the garage overnight. She leaks after she's warmed up. Once she cools down, she stops

lol nice bring back of a 3month old thread and FYI to the toolshed the 4 bangers are not as fast as the 3.0
I miss using my 3.0 for pulling my trailer.
my 4banger can pull it but not as fast.

when changing the valve cover seals make sure to get a new intake gasket at the same time.
