And Folsom is damn low... Tons of beach to drive on.
I feel your pain, because sometimes it gets so hot, it hurts. My weapon of choice for removing the dust is a leaf blower It works like you would not believe for getting all of that dust out of your A/C vents(not that you'll need to get the dust out because A/C is broken), and all those little spaces that Toyotas have. I like to leaf blow out my defroster vents, too. Because after a long dusty summer, and I turn on the defroster on a cool rainy morning, I usually don't like getting a blast of dust in my eyes. Esp. not when I'm going down the Freeway.

I might as well not have it. One of the pressurized hoses has a hole in it. The part costs like $150 or so(or a very hot couple of hours out at pick-n-pull + $25-$45 because they make you pay some environmental fee) So I have been without A/C since just BEFORE that big heat wave last year in July. Lucky me.

I had AC but then the shop "fixed it" and now I don't.

As far as the dust, I've already gotten the eye full... It was a very unpleasant surprise to say the least.

But it was quite comical to hear my sister's friends's complaints after she got out of my truck while wearing all white. She had a solid strip of brown running down her whole outfit.

Only in a Yota . I had a mechanic friend recharge the A/C when I first got my 4Runner(back in June 2006) and the A/C worked great, then when the big heat wave came in July, it crapped out on me just as it started to get past the 107 degree mark. This year, I had it recharged a second time, and it worked for about 10 days, and died again. That's when I discovered the leak on a pressurized hose leading from the condenser. Thats my only complaint with it, is the A/C. Other than that, It's great!!! Although it does have it's moments...and a lack of Horsepower.

Sorry if we stole your tread, shoes. Although, you don't seem to be complaining much.

What Wildwood Rotors and Hats did you use?

(thinkin rear disk conversion issues - to allow IFS hubs on a FF FROF spindle)

Anywayz i finally got the New brakes in, and they did take me quiet a while but they look so awesome and they stop soooooo much better than my stock brakes and i also bleeded my brakes also!

The only concern i have is that i have to press the pedal all the way to the floor for the truck to stop! could it be that i have air in the line??????

Well here are the pics

Yeah man. Bleed those breaks way better. The pedal should actually feel a bit more firm than the older ones if anything.

You bleed and bleed until absolutley all air is gone. It's a messy, tedious job and it's gotta be done.

Did you clean the inside and outside surface of the rotor with brake cleaner? New rotors are typically shipped with a preventative (oil type) coating to inhibit rust. This needs to be removed before assembly - otherwise it could contaminate the brake pads.

The best way to increase your braking performance is to just paint your calipers with some red spray paint.
