Pull the thermostat housing off......unless you have tiny, right angled phillips or can fashion one. Those are the only ways I've ever known of. Biotch, ain't it?

BTW, you should post some pics of that pretty lil' truck of yours so we can all oogle at it. I love 2nd gens.

I got a new gasket and pulled the TB again. Put in some allen screws as well now. My problem with my readings were because I was putting a small piece of vacuum hose on one of the terminals to hold one of the DMM probes and I don't get the same readings as when I take that off and hold them both on there by hand. I am able to get it set perfectly I got it all setup and installed now. Thank you for your help everyone.

Another reason I use the aquarium line. It holds the probes firmly on the terminals. But, whatever works, works!

Glad you got it fixed. Have fun camping...
