*New tires!!!! 33x10.50 BFG All Terrains, pics inside*

Thos elook wider than 10.50. I like em, I just put 33x9.50 on my p/up, love then rides much smoother, and hardly any loss of power. It tracks through the mud so much easier than the 32x11.50 I had before. Hope you like your tires!

Nice, I just put the same size on my Runner, just the MT KM2s rather than he ATs. They're a little loud, but that is what the stereo is for!
I also painted my stock SR5 rims black, see if I can't get a phone pic at lunch.

I've had the tires on for a couple months now, and I like 'em alot! I had to cut the bottoms of the rear fenders and pound/cut the front pinch weld so they don't rub at all at full lock and stuff.
They do great in the rocks but lack a little in the loose steep stuff but not horrible.

They are 4.5" backspacing.

Nice tires! Mine took around 10K miles to develop decent grip on rainy pavement. Now they've improved to average. They're also sensitive to pressures and will wear the center with only 3-4 psi extra, something needed for dry pavement grip. They also required rebalancing every 3K miles until evening out around the 10K mark and that was with fairly low 10-12 lb. road force variation.
So IMO average on road, good on sand, outstanding in snow, don't know about deep mud but have read so-so.

You really should have submitted this pic for the calendar! Please submit it for the 2011 one!!!
Your guys truck look absolutely gorgeous with the 33x10.50s and everything you've done to them. I hope to put the same size tire on mine.
89silver did have a good point, why put MTs on a mostly street driven truck....I've been wanting MTs but I'm going with the ATs again since it is my daily driver.
Thanks for all the pics in the this thread!

well in my case on the M/T vs. A/T debate, it comes down to the what-if's...LMAO
of course i go wheeling a lot so i need a M/T tire, but whenever you go out wheeling and get stuck with your A/T's you'll be wishing you got the M/T's
you could get a set of the used BFG KM1's and be set for a LOT OF MILES (if you find some with lots of tread), i've heard of people getting 60,000-70,000 miles out of a set of BFG muds, of course the more common is 35,000-45,000 i guess, it depends on how well you keep up with your maintenance
NO TIRE will last if your alignment is out of whack, or if ya got some bad ball joints, bad shocks, unbalanced, bad bearings, bad TRE's, etc.

Well there's many situations I would take an AT over a mud tire. In fact the only time I think I would take a mud tire is in deep, thick mud, even my Canadian tire house brand AT's (30" Rough Riders haha) did pretty decent in mud. Unless I was really into mudding I think I'd take an AT over an MT, plus some AT's have a snow rating vs. muds which absolutely suck in the snow.
89silverpu, I really like that canopy, where did you get it from? Do the sides and rear roll up on it?
