Purchased a 1986 Pick up with a not running 22RE. 4x4, 5 speed manual. Very excited to put time, effort, and money into her.

Well for now I plan on throwing a engine from Yota Shop in it and a new flywheel and clutch rebuild. Brakes on all four corners and inspect the lines. New grille...Not sure if I will just throw a new trans in right off the bat. I also plan to replace all the hoses as well any wiring that has been jerry rigged.

After that I intend to pull the box, and put a flatbed on it. (Probably aluminum) while the box is off I will strip all the paint and cab forward and fill any dents and paint it flat sand tan.

The interior is actually in pretty good shape so I'm not touching that until I've recouped the bank account.

granted its not running and needs help in the engine/drivetrain department I'd say $575 was a good deal. Anyone have some other items I should add to my list? What to look for?

once I've completed this project I will be selling my 2015 TRD sport. I love the truck but if I want to be spending time riding in the mountains I have to make cuts somewhere.
