New plans, selling drivetrain

I have decided that instead of wasteing my time swapping my 3vz into another 4runner, I'm just going to buy a 3rd Gen. I hated the power of the 3vz so I dont like the idea of spending more money on a truck thats equipped with it. So here's the deal, I have no idea at all what I could get for my whole drivetrain, I was wondering if anyone has sold their Motor\Clutch\Trans, and what price they sold it at. The block is a remanned motor with 6,000 miles on it, the clutch was also replaced 6,000 miles ago, and the tranny was inspected and had synchros replaced. Does anybody know a reasonable price I should be asking? I think I'm going to leave it in my truck and sell the whole thing, the truck is totaled.

only like 2k. or thats all id pay for it. even a new motor, i couldnt get 2.5k for a 4runner w/ no damage what so ever and my performance engine had low miles (30k)and the centerforce clutch was newer. plus i was including the old engine that ran just had a knock, and other misc. stuff

All in all good luck and i hope you get what your asking for.

I dunno about 2500, the truck is totalled you said. What happened to it? Were you the one who rolled it off the side of the road into a ditch (sorry maybe im gettn you confused with someone else)

How many miles are on it? Is it currently running? I don't think you could get anywhere near 2500 for a 3vze on a toyota board (they know how crappy they are). On a craigslist board or something, might be a diff. story. I think you'll have better luck parting it out personally
