New paint on the runner

I decided about 2 weeks ago to paint the runner. I had thought about having a shop do it but I didn't want to spend the money and then scratch it up. I went with the camo job and it took most of the day but I had a little body work to do. Here are some pics. I also got a pair of Supra seats and installed them. What do you guys think?

the front mounts had to be bent down but other than that, yes. real easy install. only paid $50 for them.

Nice looking runner!

Looks like the guys on TRUCKS copied your idea when they painted their bronco.

Not sure. I found a guy that had a bunch of yota stuff for sale and these seats were just laying in the back of a 4runner.

What kind of paint did you use?

How did you mask off the pattern?

Dupli-color. The truck was already white so I just sanded it down and put a new coat on it. Then i just started taping off sections and making my designs with a marker. Then I cut out the design with a razor and painted. Be sure you paint from light colors to dark colors. I should have taking pics for you guys but once I got started I didn't stop til I was finished. I painted it in the driveway and the paint dried as fast as I sprayed it.

Like the Urban Camo. Yeah Mike's Truck is the inspiration for my soon to be Moab (Red) camo that I am starting this weekend....

But again how did you decide the design??

So Michael (4 Hummer) what color scheme will you be doing? After I do the Moab Camo I will be doing the "4hummer" chop at some point this summer. LOL Brothers in Arms!

Those seats came in Celicas and Supras. I had the same exact set in my daughter's 88 Celica GT. I replaced them with another set that is very similar but not exactly the same. The originals were all worn out. I believe the mounts between the two are identical. They appear to be at least.
