lol. dude. that stinks. royaly. its always a good idea to follow the rules, and if u dont, at least have a backup plan. like a velcro converter that u can wrap around the pipe, and maybe just a random metal pipe that u can bolt on, and maybe the stock wheels to bring it inside the range there. as far as the lift, just say... its feeling perky today. lol. good luck bro. get workin.

Wow! That really sucks man. Im currently not legal with my tires sticking out 2.5" from the fenders (not allowed to stick out at all) But I have had cops following me but never pull me over (knock on wood).
Looks like you will have to throw your old tires on, lower the suspension a little, Get a cat and tailpipe.
Im sure the ISR mod is legal, it dosnt make your truck pullute more.

That seriously sucks!!! Arrested for that crap?!?!? Seems like down here you would get a fit it ticket... A few years ago when I drove from Alaska down through the Yukon Territory I saw some trucks that were much worse than yours...
If you yank the lift you should still be able to clear the 33's if you can find some wheels with some more positive offset

thats cause when my headgsket blewup my oil pressure sensor was giving up,so instead of putting a new expensive sensor from dealer i got a new:water temp gauge + sensor+oil opressure gauge+sensor+votalge gauge+and wires. for 25 dollars.and im hapyer with this setup cause the gauge are much much more precise.

are you kinding me,i dont want to start a war here but exept for apperance i dont get the advantages your talking about,is having to get a sterring extension an advantage? is getting No extra clearance an advantage is getting more larger holes on side of motor right were the mud gets and advantage. really i dont see much.. but yet susp lift side get disanvantages thats for sure, but at least its a down for an up. body lifts are just downs,to me...my opinion
So... You think that Rough Country lift is stronger than the stock suspension huh?
I won't go in to all of the gory details, but I will address one of your concerns.
"and is getting your motor more deeper down an advantage?"
Definitely. I can do a fuel filter in 10 minutes. Even before my bracket lift I could get my oil pan off without dropping the front diff. The motor is easier to work on all the way around with the bl on it.
And as they say, that's just the tip of the iceberg...

i really like those headlights
my mount broke on one of mine (glass mount?) so i think i need whole new lamps.
i saw that they made these for ur pickup but i cant find them for my 95 runner! they look really rad..
i know 4runners had 2 options at the time (when we bought it like 13 years ago lol) for headlamps that were inside or ones that were flush to the grill and we took the flush ones.
if you could find me those in my truck model, i would really appreciate it. or some others?
edit:http://cgi.ebay.ca/CLEAR-HEADLIGHT-t...QQcmdZViewItem i found these will they fit???

ovvrdrive, you are right about the fact that you get better access underneith, and yea i defenetly think that the EXTRA cross member provided by rough country wich comes with the lift helps alot on getting the susp more rugged.
by the way ovrrdrive, just wanted to say. you are one of the guys who inpired me to get my old truck lifted. cheers

Well then, I'm glad I wasn't a smartass to you then.
Your truck looks great... No doubt about it. But to take that next step to 35's or 36's just about requires a bl on the truck (unless you want to trim) and believe it or not, once you get used to it a bl isn't that bad at all.
Of course, if you go that next step to 35's on IFS you open up a whole other can of worms.
I'm glad to hear I inspired you... Doesn't it feel great driving the truck you created?
