New cylinder heads

Hello gentlemen, I'm looking for a little help on here with installing a pair of new/remanufactured cylinder heads. I recently blew a head gasket on my 1993 runner. It's the dreaded 3.0V6 engine, I know. I decided to do the job myself since I'm somewhat mechanically inclined. The problem I'm having is installing the new heads. I noticed when I removed the original ones, the head bolts wouldn't come out unless I removed the cam from the heads. My question is, is there a way to install the new head bolts without removing the cam? I bought the new heads with the cams already installed and didn't want to remove anything if I don't have to. I was hoping they would just be a plug and play type deal. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you...

According to the FSM the heads are installed before the camshaft.
