On any other tire I'd go black out. I've had BFGs mounted both ways and I like them white out. I like the hard block style of the letters, plus it adds some contrast.

agreed. white looks nice when it's clean and purdy, otherwise black is where it's at.

ok, heres some questions you should ask yourself.

Do you go 4wheeling at all besides trails that cars can drive down?

Do you wash your car often and clean/dress your tires?

Do you want to have to worry about the lettering fading and turning yellow?

i think you can draw your own conclusion. My opinion... put it black out and never have to worry about the maintenence of the white walls at all.

The white does look nice and purdy when the tires are new but after a little use, especially if your gona wheel, they end up looking like crap. I vote black.

I've got mine black-out, but I wish I had gone white-out.

I think white letter looks good on trucks like ours with alot of sidewall.
I realize its a mall crawler thing to some people, but think in most cases,
yours included, whitewall would look much cooler. 90% of vehicles out there
run plain old blackwall tires, make yours stand out. Plus, you figure
your tires are about window level with Hondas and such, let em know
what you run!

The lettering on BFGs seems quite durable so that really isn't an issue if you take proper care for your tires with regular cleaning and dressing.

I'd go for what you really like and not the popular opinion vote;either way they will look good.

If you go white ,it will look nice. But i like the black better. But its gonna depend on the color of your truck, which i didnt notice because i was too busy looking at mine, with the black out on the red truck, thinking somebody said black out white mall, but i see them white out & that looks good too. Go black, i mean White!

Black. Although, I think white looks very good sometimes. They got to stay clean though.

If they are some cheap ass tires I go black out, if I spend the cash on BFG's I make sure I can read it lol.

I still vote black out though.

Here is the one set of BFG's that I bought new

Excuse the cute blonde, it's the only picture I have of my old BFG's.
