LOL...happens to everyone.

Anyhoo...these bumpers are well worth the money. You will be happy with one.

I'm planning on a slick turn signal addition when I get mine and another trick.

Sounds cool, pics and such when you get it, as always.

These damn trucks are like crack, you can never do enough....

I think I'll be pretty happy when most of the red list in my sig is done, but that's a lot of money I don't have yet....

I'm sure by the time I get all that squared away, I'll have found more goodies that I must have!

Scotty it was nice talking to you the other day (as per our phone conversation). Can't wait to get one of these very, very, soon. Have you considered making an option to where one could utilize the turn signal lamps (kind of like in the pic's on your website but without Wire-ties, you know something like mounting tabs)? Anyway it's great to talk to the person who will be actually constructing these parts and again can't wait.

If you don't want to "zip tie" your turn signals, why not just convert the marker lights into dual purpose park/turn signal assemblies???

ocdropzone did this to his B4Runner (Trekker). He has a write up on it.

Sorry, I didn't even see it. Assuming that it was directed my way: The answer is no, I don't know who makes one to retain the stock bumper. I have seen some of the desert trucks run something(maybe a procomp light bar?), but its more of a light bar. Also, Smittybuilt used to make a brush guard for them a few years ago. No clue if they still do or not though.

Most people ditch stock bumpers because they are very weak. Same thing goes for smaller light bars that bolt to them. Hit it on something and its going to get tweaked. There just isn't much of a way around that.

Thanks for answering, I appreciate it.. What would you rate your bumper in the front for getting hit with other cars backing into it, protection of the fenders, overall protection if I rear end someone or something, etc.. I know the bars look strong but I wish they would cover a bit more area? I dunno.. kinda new at this.. is your bumper a bolt on? I really do not wish to do any welding

Thanks

PS. I know Marlin has something similar.. how would yours compare?

Well, I don't test them by driving into other cars. LOL

Seriously though, its identical 1.75" .120 wall material that is used in a marlin bumper, so they are going to be pretty damn close in strength. Yes, its bolt on.

I do recommend beefing up the front frame/crossmember section since its only .090 wall material though. Its not necessary, but recommended. You should do this with all of the bumpers that are on the market.

Its your truck. Don't worry about what other people say and do what you want to do to it.

After all: “We are so vain that we even care for the opinion of those we don't care for.”
