Need replacement aisin manual locking hub part.

So just the other day while playing at the beach doing hill climbs i managed to snap my front right axle cv shaft. It broke right before the spline so that was good but when it broke some how the outer hub cap ( the part you turn ) was destroyed and now needs replacing. Pieces of the part your turn actually broke off and you cant even turn it now. So I only really need that cap piece not the whole hub and I'm not looking to spend too much for it. All i have found for replacing it was to buy a whole new set of locking hubs which is not to cheap. I checked my local junk yard but no luck. If you have any ideas that would be great. Thanks, Neil.

FYI that picture is off Google I'm using it to show whats broke.

Not sure if it matters but here are the specks: 1989 Toyota V6 3.0 IFS, I'm pretty sure it was converted from automatic to manual hubs

When I bought my truck one of my hubs was broke there, came out in pieces when I took it apart. I managed to find a junk yard near me that sold them for 45 each, you might be able to just buy the part from one to. Or check craigslist for someone parting out there runner or pickup.

If those don't workout for you contact wabfab, he might be able to sell just that part.

You could check with your local dealer if your on good terms like a first name basis with the parts people.

check on here the people parting out trucks.

thing is nobody really wants to break up a good set of hubs.

Is this all apart that you know just what you need??

It might be easier to just buy two new used hubs and keep your good one for a spare.

I have misc parts available here:
https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f109...-parts-259427/

They are straight axle hubs, but the part you need is interchangeable. See this thread if you need more info:

Gotta run to work now, but I'll try to check back in later.
Good luck.

scour craigslist, ebay, and local toyota truck/landcruiser clubs. I betcha someone in one of the clubs has a couple pairs on a shelf that they've been hoarding. Pay them in beer.
I picked up a pair from a tow company totaled vehicle for $40
I heard that some people sell them in the hundreds of dollars for IFS hubs, and that is just insane. You can always temporarily throw on another manufacturer's selectable hub.
