need help w/ clutch year

Hey guys.

The clutch went out on my Frankentruck...she's mostly comprised of 91 and 93 Pickup parts. 4WD, 22RE. There's two separate Aisin clutch kits for those years and I'm hoping there's some trick to tell which one I need before taking the transmission out. Does anyone know the difference between these kits or how bad it would be if the wrong year was put in? This is my DD, so I'm trying to get back on the road ASAP...already gonna take longer than I'd like since this is my first time taking down a trans and I know I'll be slow as hell with it.

PO built the truck, but listed as a 94, so I don't know if asking him will be much help.

What model transmission is in the truck (w56 or g58) ? What are they part numbers they are giving you?

Thanks for the link, that baby's bookmarked. Reckon it's the W56 since I have manual hubs. I emailed the parts shop, and they told me that as long as I got the matching year of flywheel, it was all good. Got in touch with a professional mech who specializes in Toyotas and he said the flywheel year between the two doesn't matter as long as it's in good working order...he also told me that I misdiagnosed my troubles and steered me towards the rear diff pinion bearing or jammed rear brakes. Live and learn...this is still good to know in case the clutch dies on me later.

Since you asked, the part #s are CKT-022 and CKT-049.

so what eXactly is our issue? Rear Pinion bearing is a far cry from clutch issues.

Last week the engine dropped power while driving on the highway...acceleration struggled while rpms climbed, more noticable after 35 mph. Sometimes shifting into 1st and reverse takes some persuasion. Figured my clutch was crapping out on me, but now I think it's something else. Next morning I went to pull out of the drive with the intention of crawling through town to work and it wouldn't budge in any gear, but I didn't push it too hard since I'm parked at the top of a steep hill and didn't want to suddenly lunge forward. The engine runs and doesn't stall, but it's rough @ 2.5 rpm warm.

Rear diff is fine, I checked it out. Brakes are probably jammed up (I won't know for sure til I get my jack stands back from a friend) along with another issue. I've been going over the engine while I wait for my jack stands.
