I was doing a motor swap on two 4runners and the wiring harness was cut all to pieces on the new one. I was going to use the wiring harness off my old one but its a manual. The 4runner i am switching to is automatic so I need an automatic engine wiring harness for a 1987 toyota 4runner with a 22re fuel injected motor, does anybody have one lying around? I couldnt find one on ebay and none of the junk yards around me has one. any help would be appreciated/

 

You will need the ECU, as well. Most of the harness is identical. I would take the one good harness, for the manual, and add the connectors for the auto. Should just be the large white plug below the intake, and the portion for the auto itself. Option B, is to get the manual shift conversion unit. Use the manual harness and ECU, and control the auto manually.

 

Oh, side note. For reference, that should be an A340F. A similar unit, is the AW4 in a jeep in case you decide to go with the manual conversion unit.
