Need a dead computer and wiring harness

Picked up a Megasquirt eMS-Pro and my summer 'project' is to get it working with the 3VZE.

Yes, I know, "don't spend on the 3.turd, it's a waste". I'm not looking for power, trying to get better MPG out of it. With mine getting 15mpg and hearing some report 20+ I'm hoping to get at least 2mpg better mileage. If it can be done this'll pay for itself in 10,000 miles (and that calculation was done when gas was still $3/gal.)

So anyway, I'm going to need a set of plugs so I can do this w/o having to cut the harness. I'll have to cannabilize a set from a computer and it's possible I'll have to do a parallel computer in order to keep cruise control (still unknown.)
I do have an extra computer, but it's working and I hate to destroy a working computer just for the sockets.

Does anyone out there have a 3vze dead computer and a couple foot hunk of harness they'd be willing to donate (or sell) for this project?

Sounds like a good idea to me. I think the 3.0 goes probably into open loop to much and hurts the mileage.

If the 3VZ ECUs are anything like the 5VZ ECUs they sometimes have different plugs and pinouts from year to year and model to model. So you might want to look for a manual tranny ECU and as close to the same year as possible.

Good luck

I have a '91 and a '94 computer, they are interchangeable. In fact, I run the '91 (my truck's a '94) because it seems to run a little better. Pretty sure the automatics are as well.

In fact, when I look at the FSM block pinout it sure looks like all the 3VZEs are the same (just different pins used for the auto.)

Dumping more $$ into the 3.turd is not something I would have done...but I was able to pick up the new computer and harness for half price and couldn't resist.
I figure even if I can't get it to work and have to sell it I'll be able to break even.
