I'm up here in Alberta and all our tailgates rust off the vehicles ,I'm wondering if anyone makes aftermarket ones ( just the shell) also is there any down south at the wreckers that dont rust ? I'm interested in buying a few to sell up here .
Also Landcruisers sell for a high price here I'm wondering about bringing a few to sell here.Anyone know what the average rust free decent landcruiser around 88 - 91 sells for ? I not against paying a finders fee ,but hold on LOL.
Im only inquiring at the moment .If this proves profitable I would then like to have someone spoting these for me and checking them out I'd send cash so they could put a deposit on the vehicle till i could get there .Of coarse I'd be a little leary at firsts ,but a profitable relationship could develope .

good luck finding one,I'm in rusty alberta too and shelled out $300 for an almost rust free used tailgate with some sizeable dents in it, but I couldn't find a new one and trying to find one with no rust is practically impossible,although my old 84 runner had a gate with no rust but the rest of her was toast-now i have an 89 but with less body rust but the gate is ready to fall off.
