oh it's fine, look, he's got lil ol blocks under the tires

but yeah, why on earth would you strap to the leafs? but I gues considering the leaf pack is as tall as the frame is thick, then it's strong enough, lol

but then again, I guess that's not the strangest question to ask after seeing some of the pics in here

Hmmm, maybe a little more research will elighten what variable timing is and it was a big deal when developed over 25 years ago and has been copied by Toyota,VW,Mistubishi and even Porsche so VTEC was ahead of it's time.

I wouldn't bag on motors when Toyota's 3.0 in those early trucks is pretty weak and could use some help from VTEC,yo!!!!

VTEC would NOT help the situation any... they already have the headgasket problem... lol... that would just make it worse...

Jaguar did it before Honda, back in the '60s IIRC. It was a mechanical setup that moved the idler gears on the timing chain.

I laugh at the sight of a vtec sticker on any honda... sorry honda fans...

the vtec thing is like a colt... those who have one, thats all they talk about... "Yeah, I gotta Honda, it's a vtec"... it's like a Dogde-Hemi thing I guess...
