My wife decided we should take the Yota to Wetmore this evening... Almost creamed 2 freaking deer (simultaneously) on the way home. GRRR

Dam. Was that on 67? That road can be a pain. And its full of dam deer. Can't see them during hunting season but come down a highway in Colorado and there they are.

Yea 67 is rough going out of Florence to Wetmore. Starting in on repairs today, as long as weather works with me. No garage so doing it all in back yard. Gonna try to get fenders off, grill/lights off, front bumper off, get truck on jacks and inspect under the front. Also gonna go put fuel pump in sisters ecliples and change oil in Wife's Jetta. Repairs will take some time since Im getting no insurance money to help so its all out of my pocket. My sister and mom both said they would help since my sister was driving it. So I figure Christmas will be Yota parts, tools, or money, HAHA Time will tell tho. Will post any pics I take today.

So today I was gonna start working on Yota but had a few things to do first. Change oil on wife's Jetta, then went to my moms to install a fuel pump on said eclipes for sister. Did that and the dam car wouldnt start. Called my dad in Orlando and he's a master tech. He said check for spark on plug wires, and not spark. so its the coil pack. Gotta wait for her to get money to fix it. Dang eclipes but back to YOTA. So didnt get home till dusk and got to look at Yota for a few mintues, no tear down tho. Found out why its pulling or why i believe it is pulling. Looks like both lower control by the ball joints are bent and possibley the steering knuckle. The passenger side is worse then the driver side. So will have to get more in depth into it another day but back to work tomorrow. Might try to get on it before work tomorrow.

lived here my whole life. i am definately not trying to insult your intelligence, but people in colorado should know what lives in their state. as far as color the bear could be brown, cinnamon, they call some honey colored. The species is a black bear; i promise. there has not been a grizzly bear even seen in the state since like the late 70's. research it i swear. check like colorado wildlife agency or something

Started to tear down on the Yota today. Got grill, headlight frames, 1 corner light(other was crushed), got drivers fender off also. Got to figure out if the dog house is welded to cab or bolted. If any of you know PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!! Heres a few of the core support, before I started tear down. Took a few of what I did today. Will upload later.

Got hood, driver fender, grill, bumper, lights all off. Also started going through box of Yota pieces I had in shed and found a complete dash that has no cracks. Just gotta paint it. Its brown. My dad stripped some interior parts out of a 2wd one a friend of his had that he was scrapping cause his son wrecked it for my old 4runner my mom drove. . Would have like to take the bed off and make a trailer of it. But did get few pieces. Wanted to pull engine and trans but the guy sent it out before I got back from vacation. With winter coming not sure how much I will get done. Will post few pics of how it looks stripped down.
