My head hurts...

I've been chasing a stumble/miss is my rigs since April. I had just finished the AT to MT swap. It would run ok at first, but as it warmed up started missing chugging back through the intake, like it had a vacuum leak or running lean. I smoke tested it, sprayed flammable liquids on I looking for a vacuum leak, Metered and changed parts, all to avail. It acted like as soon as it went into closed loop it went to crap. I have a friend who was a Toyota tech back in the 90s. He said, sounds like a sensor. The only one I could not remember changing is the ECM Water temp sender. Yea, the one that is the big pain in the a$$. I got a new one but wanted to test the old. Tested them side by side. Nothing wrong with the old one. One thing I had noticed with the plug, the keeper had broken/rotted off. When I finally got the sender back in, I made sure to jam that plug where it had to make contact. Like my pal said, it was a sensor. Well, the plug to one. They actually had the right one on Amazon. 8-dollar part.8* dollars.... Head shaking.....
