Okay this is my first truck and i can tell engine has taking beating over the years so i decided i wanted to do some upgrades now note that i only make 300 on average weekly but really this truck is my only bill for now.

so overtime this is what i wanna do.

now is there anything i should know expect to walk into or need when rebuilding this truck?

it is a 1991 toyota 22re with no rebuild ever 180k+ Miles ( speedometer/odometer cable was ripped when i got it ) i know the timing chain is bad and i think the valves need to be adjusted.

but does this all seem okay to do?

will i see a big difference?

any experience with this field?

anything would be nice to hear advice , idea's , suggestions and experience's

 

should i go ahead and replace any hoses/o2 censors? or anything of that sort?

the truck has already seen a full tune up
-PCV
-Plugs
-Wires
-Cap/rotor
-Oil change
-Air filter
-new fuel pump/tank/cap
-new radiator cap
