faubrunner yes the brake lines will need to be extended. I just left the first bracket that attaches it to the axle undone for right now until I get the line extended this weekend.

gonzaga- they're very worn 31x10.5's

Oh I did have a little incident when I was cutting the driver's side a-arm...I kinda cut through my shock and it started leaking all over. So I guess I'm going to have to order a new one. Luckily they were only 20 bucks off of summit racing.

GAHHH I HATE THAT STUPID RIPPED CV JOINT BOOT
D*$# THAT PEICE!!!!
I swear we worked on that side forever
Oh ya good job with the shock haha

But finally its done

Well I drove it around today (to school, work, take some people places) and all I can say is get an alignment after installing the bj spacers ASAP. The steering was HORRIBLE and i was starting to think I had messed something up. I got an alignment and after that it was pretty much perfect. I can tell the torsion bars are cranked over stock but it's bearable. A lot of the problem may be that I'm still basically missing the front driver's side shock because of my little incident but the new one is already on its way.

I ordered my manual hubs today so that'll be my next addition as i wanna give the cv's a little break

Is it possible to just use the same shocks that the 80 series LC's use for the swap. I could see where the rear would make sense, but would the front be ok with the 1.5 bj spacer?

How do you like the Edlebrock shocks? Their description makes them sound like the function in the opposite way one would think a shock should for on and off road performance but maybe they figured something out.

wouldve been easier if you just made 3 cuts for clearance for the spacers, that and removed the shocks too haha.

looks good though either way!

Also, it's taking a lot longer because I have to document everything for my project.

I made a bracket for the lspv, took about 5 minutes and works. It's not exactly impressive looking, but I'm okay with a ghetto look.

I also got the ball joint on the passenger side apart, got the studs knocked out (really easy, I thought it was going to be a lot harder), and started cutting with a cutting blade.

Unfortunately the 2 I had ended up breaking so I'm going to have to go buy some more monday. I plan on finishing everything up that day actually.

What is the ispv????

And why does the A-arm on the IFS have to be grind down?

Looks good.
I am looking into doing the same lift, but I was wondering, how much have the coils sagged since you put them in?

Ok, I figured out that these shocks are no longer available because it says NA on their site.

I was wondering what other shocks could I get for this same lift???

Would these work?

These for the rear?? Would these be good? and would they fit?? I'm doing the LC coil lift in the rear and 1.5' BJ spacer up front with 1/2 cranked t-bars.
