My 4Runner Lift

Recently I lifted my 4Runner, I did it using the Cruiser Coil/ BJ Spacer Technique. Now heres some pictures and explanations.

Heres the 4runner completely stock.

The first thing I did was got rid of the body rust and painted black along the bottom.

Heres the BJ spacers. I did not adjust the torsion bars and did have to do some cutting of the pinch weld to stop rubbing.

Heres my homemade LSPV bracket and skyjacker shock

Heres my 4Crawler Panhard Rod Drop Bracket and shocks again.

The Aisin Manual hubs and the tires I chose (Mud King XT Steel Radial 33x12.5x15) on Cragar Soft 8 Rims

And here it is all done.

Sweet !!!!! I can't wait to get mine done. I have everything on order just awaiting it's arrival, should have been here by now actually but there was an address mix up : ( , couple of more weeks and I'll be sitting just as pretty. I had planned on the painting the lower section also but was thinking of using spray on bedliner.

yep

Looks great man. I was going to do the same rust removal on mine but wasn't sure how it would look; turns out it looks really good. I'm not a huge fan of lift but I really like the way it all came together for you....good job.

looks great, i can see some black ARB bumpers comming your way. that would complete the look of your truck. If I had a white 2nd gen again, I would definately tint the windows, that made the world of difference!!!

X2. Nice looking rig but what was the final cost? Although mine is a truck it cost me right at 300$ for the coils/mounts in the rear and the ball joint spacers up front. Total time to install was about 6 hours total but if I ever do it again it'll be a lot faster.

Oh and I love the black on the lower part of the body, might have to do that to mine.

Did you consider painting the bumpers black? rather than keeping it chrome? When i paint my truck white i'm painting the bumpers.

The black on white look really looks good.

I'm not gonna bother with the bumpers because I'll be buying some new offroad ones in the near future.
