has any one runed dual tips right before the rear wheels.

Go for it. Make sure you use small pipes, like 2" max...

 

my next exhaust system for my 4cyl 22R is going to be a Cherrybomb EXTREME single 2.5" in dual 2.25" out..going to run duals out the driver side..right in front of the rear tire..i would run a single pipe on EACH SIDE..but..idk how i would get it to work..with the driveshaft and the gas tank all bein in the way..lol...so 2 tips on the driverside will work for me...they'll probably be dual 4" tips..or 3.5"...should sound badass with my bored and cammed 22R with the header too
