Mud on my truck
I spent the last three days deep in the California Pacific Northwest woods chasing the elusive "grey ghost" the Columbia Blacktail.
This is really a pretty pathetic display of mud on my truck but I did try.

"Grey Ghosts"
I have actually "caught" a few of them but I will say, you really have to put in the time. It helps if it is miserable weather and today was MISERABLE! I must have walked 15 miles today in the pouring rain. I saw 5 grey squirlls, 2 grouse, 10 does, 2 fawns, and one lonely brownish grey Black Bear.

My 4Runner was pretty muddy yesturday(Friday), but that was just from the rain mixing with all the dust that had accumulated over the summertime. Seriously, I couldn't have gotten my rig muddy over the last 4 months if I had to. All the stuff that used to be mud is now just dust.
