Using the bright link only works during assembly when it is aligned properly on the crankshaft sprocket as well.
Make sure the crank pulley mark is lined up with the 0 mark on the timing cover and then align the cam sprocket so that the dowel is at 12 o'clock.
This will put the mark that is supposed to be used to line up the chani slightly to the passenger side of the engine . Approximately 1/2 tooth off of 12 o'clock
If this is ok, then go back and get the distributor right.

it worked i moved the cam sproket one tooth counter clock wise and now we can adjust the timing . But my jumper wont idle down when jumped,time to check the tps im getting code 7,10,11,12 and 14.Any help for these codes????
