So I need a new head gasket, I'm thinkin of picking up another motor becasue I dont have the time to do a head gasket job.. bascially I need to know which motors will be compatible with my 87 long bed pickup.

22r 2wd 5 speed?

Mine is the 4x4 obvs but i'm wondering if I can throw 22r or 22re 2wd in place of my 4 wheel drive motor. will it line up to the tranny? might seem like a dumb question but I need a motor ASAP! thanks in advance!
