most miles in a single trip in my toyota sense rebiuld went well

not really much distance but i have not had the Toyota out on the highway sense i trailer'ed it back to north Dakota from California where it sat for 5 years and tore down the motor and got her on the road again, mostly just used it around town. finally got around to getting a new alternator in it the other day and got an break issue squared away so i had an 100 mile round trip i had to do tonight and said what the hell and took the Toyota. the tires worried me, 3 dry rotted tires and 1 bald spare are whats on the truck (ordering tires soon) besides an vibration at 60mph from the spare tire being out of balance and the truck being a bit drafty at -3*f outside it went really well. seemed to get really good millage (used just a little over a 1/4 tank) i cant check my actual millage till i get my vent tube fixed (has a split in it so cant top off the tank normally only fill it to about 3/4 of a tank) on that note can heater hose be used on the gas tank vent tube or will it just swell up? i don't think ill be taking the Toyota again anywhere out of town till i get new tires although it was really fun being out on the highway in the old gal again.

22re it wasn't a true full rebuild. first tear down was at 120k miles due to broken timming chain guides re ringed and put new bearings in then ran out of cash and slapped the head back on (i think i was still 16 at the time) second tear down was at 240k miles timing chain guides again upgraded to steel backed. rebuilt the top end (valves were worn so bad you could just about shave with them. bottom end still looked good so i just did a top end rebuild with new cover steel backed guides new oil pump water pump and new radiator (somehow my radiator got scavenged while my truck was resting in California) and now its back on the road, hopefully ill get more than 120k out of it this time before going under the knife again.

i kept my speed down to about 60-65 and the tires aren't really that bad just bad enough to make me uncomfortable. i did not end up in a ditch or spinning off the road never lost traction about the worst that could of happened would have been to have a tread separation,
