Moog Balljoints problem

So I am replacing the lower balljoints on my 93 2wd 22re with Moog ball joints and have run into a problem. When I stick the balljoint bolt through the spindle there is not enough thread showing. With the castle nut on tight as can be there is no way to put a cotter pin thorugh. It is almost like it is too short or the castle nut is too big. I don't see how this is possible???! Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks guys!

I wonder if the guy gave you the 4wd part, does the Moog LBJ look like the (other) old LBJ?

Take it back out and compare side by side. If they no matchy, take it back and have a talk with the boob who sold you the wrong part.
