Moog ball joint ???

Just got my Moog ball joints in to replace both upper and lower on my 92. I am having a real hard time getting the boot to seat onto the base of the ball joint. It has a hardened ring encased in rubber and the fit is crazy tight. I have tried to force it on by hand and resulted in a small tear at the seam of the ring and the boot. This is only a problem with the upper joints. Anyone out there in Yotatech land know what I am talking about?? Comments and suggestions welcome.

As always thanks,

Did you try putting a bit of grease on the boot/lip where it seats? Can you use a tiny pocket screwdriver under the boot to help ease it down?
