Miss in rig untill warmed up....

?. My rig seems to have a hesitation in it when I step on the gass untill it warms up. Any clue to this matter.

More than the likely you need a tune up. Usually that happens when your spark plugs get fouled up.

Will this do any harm to the engine untill I have time to get this done?

Not really, you will just get bad fuel mileage, lack of power and the problem will only get worse over time.
