Personally I always resurface flywheels, doing a clutch is a lot of labour so I don't think it's worth trying to save a few bucks by not doing it.

same here. always have it done, if even just for added insurance. Ya never know, the flywheel could be warped and if its minor, the naked eye often cannot detect things like that, or tiny cracks in the flywheel.

100% agree with whats been said.

get it resurfaced. It would be like... rebuilding your engine but not putting new oil in

replace your rear main seal at this time as well x6 for the resurface of the flywheel
if you have the tranny out all the way it is also a good time to replace the fuel filter

and bleed the clutch master and slave cylinder.

not that bad... but close. maybe using a fram filter for the break in

ive just rough sanded a flywheel before w/o issues (does that count as 'resurfacing'???)
