Time for a new clutch and some work on the 5 speed shifter for my 1994 Toyota 4runner. Used to have Marsh Transmission work on it, but the Dad retired and no one else there does work on manuals. Anyone have a good shop that still works on the superior transmission type and clutches?

I'm researching all shops in Tigard and Tualatin Oregon, I live in Tigard but I would travel distance for my favorite vehicle if it's a solid shop.

I had good luck five years ago getting my diffs replaced at Vancouver Transmission over the Columbia. If I remember correctly Big Joe did the work (there was another Joe there at the time), seemed pretty knowledgeable about Toyotas specifically. Also if it's just clutch / shifter stuff, you might try Specialty Auto in Portland. If they are willing to take it on, they will do a good job.
