lower shock bolt size?

Anyone know the size of the lower shock bolts on the 88'. It looks like a 23mm or 24mm...?

Dang, maybe smeone did some "custome work" to mine. I went to replace them and my 22mm wouldn't fit, it looked like a 23 or 24.

The front lower shock bolts on my 88 are M16 w/22mm heads/nuts. I believe WW means the bolts for the rear shocks.

Maybe somebody replaced yours with 5/8"(15.875mm) bolts w/ 7/8"(22.225mm) or 15/16"(23.8125mm) heads/nuts?

From what I've searched and found it seems they were replaced with something else other than stock, looks like I'll be buying some nice adjustable wrenches.

Get a full metric and SAE combination wrench set, or a full socket set with metric and SAE. Adjustable wrenches are not worth the money you will spend on them. They are a tool you leave in the cab of your truck for that just in case, o crap moment.

Yeah, I guess they wouldn't get any better in quality as they get bigger.

Too bad I can't kick the previous owner in the knee cap for combining metric and SAE.
