Low RPM on hot weather

i have this problem when the weather is over 105 F, i live on mexicali mexico, if i start my 4runner on hot weather the RPM are on 500, but if i start the truck on morning the RPM are OK (800-900), please can help me with this issue..

what rpm does it idle after the coolant warms up?

in the morning it start 1200 cold -> after warm up it goes 800, but at noon (hot weather) it start 750 and quickly goes to 500, if i turn on the A/C it still on 500...

could be the air temperature sensor in the the air flow meter.

Check your coolant level. Mine was idling fine when it was cold but when it warmed up it would only idle about 500 rpm. I topped off the coolant (it was about a quart low) and it's been idling fine since.

Mine does that, too.
So does my buddies '93 4Runner 3.0, and it's freshly rebuilt.

I don't worry about the rpm so long as the oil pressure is at an acceptable level.

the ATS is inside of AFM? and how i take it off...

i check my coolant level was OK....
