loose cable on 3.0

sureveyed the damage(muddiness) from last nights run and found this[IMG][/IMG]
i think its a ground wire, but its already grounded to the body. can anyone peak under their hood for me and tell me were it goes. thanks.

Ground wire. Mounts to a bracket just under the plenum hose you are holding it above. Below valve cover, but above or near exhaust.

It goes to the engine. Bolt it to on of the bolts above the exhaust manifold.

just find a good place to bolt it back on to the engine

Goes right in the 10mm hole located near the #4 plug hole. Now why this ground was used and melted instead of the other sones would indicate the other grounds are poor.

I believe it is a 14 mm just bolts onto your valve cover I never understood why it ground to fender and the valve cover also but it does. I replaced my wire about a month ago have no idea what it does. GOOD LUCK
