locker issues

I just installed a Detroit locker in the rear of my truck that I bought from a member on the forum, used. After having it installed in the third by a licensed mechanic, I installed it in my truck. Everything went together fine and I took the truck out for a drive. When I first moved the truck I heard a click from the rear which I thought was normal so I went out on the road. HOLY ONE TIRE BATMAN!!!! It seems to be driving only the right rear, no matter how much gas I give it or which way I turn. Is the diff smoked or is there something I missed? I didn't open the diff up when I got it and I'm using 80w90 gear oil. I sure hope it's not smoked cause then I'm out like $300.
