I've got an Aussie in an 87 4Runner auto trans. IFS, stock 4.3(?) gearing, 32" tires.

The only time I notice it is during a U turn. Need to give it gas or it might pop. Sometimes changing between forward and reverse quickly will pop.

It clicks through most turns, but it doesn't bother me at all.

Driving in rain has been fine so far. Never seen snow or ice with it yet.

Also, I drive like an old man, so that probably helps.
