Total noobie here... I'm doing and Engine swap in my 93 X-Cab 4x4. I've discovered the deep part of my oil pan is smack dab over the front differential.
I'm looking for the 4X4 oil pan made for my Engine and not so easy to find. So my son stopped by and suggested I look into installing a lift kit.
Would a lift kit put more distance between my oil pan and the front diff ?? And if this a viable solution to the problem how much of a kit can/should
I install before I start throwing things out of whack ?? I'm thinking if this is do-able 3" should do the trick..
What are your thoughts on this ??
