Here's a good thread to start with.

Smod, I don't care what 94runner says and what worked for him. No matter what, reconnect your panhard bar. Even if you aren't able to get the drop bracket right away, reconnect it and then add the bracket later. Your axle will be shifted over to the pass side but will be much safer than not running one at all.
So, it looks like he used metal brackets for the brake lines.. am I right?

And what size up front with the 1.5" BJ spacers??

Okay the panhard bar centers the axle under the truck. When you lift the rear it makes the axle shift to the right slightly.

I didn't get a panhard extension at first and taking turns my driveshaft would hit my gas tank.

Toyota wouldn't have put that bar on there if it wasn't needed.

My $.02

Smod, click the 93 4runner link in my sig, and I have everything listed on there. The shock numbers for both the front and back of what I used.

I get mild rubbing on the back of the fender well at near full lock, and when the suspension flexes and the wheel is turned pretty sharp.

The rubbing isn't too bad, and it seems to rub more with the wheel cranked to the right than to the left..... I'm not sure why.

I posted this earlier in the LC thread up top but I thought I would pass this on down here maybe someone can give me some insight on this.

Did some research for these coils and I now have two different sets to look for, for the fj80 series, I called around the local salvage yard here and this is what they all have told that there are two different heights.

LR coil: 476mm, RR coil: 464mm
LR coil: 447mm, RR coil: 458.5mm

Can some body clarify this because that fj80 model stretches from 1990 to 1997 if I did my research right, now which set of coils are we suppose to be looking for?

Hmm. I just bought some cruiser coils. I hope they are the right size. lol. That would suck if they were the wrong ones.

So what size lift do these different size LC coils give?

Thanks

So I got my coils and I'm still wondering which side does the longer LC coil goes on? Or do I have to have 2 of the same length?

Thanks!

These for the rear?? Would these be good? and would they fit?? I'm doing the LC coil lift in the rear and 1.5' BJ spacer up front with 1/2 cranked t-bars.

I dont know what height I need for the front on this lift and I dont know what height for the rear.. lol. Would 4in. lift be good for the rear shocks? And would 2-3in be good up front or should I get 4in. up front too???
