Knock sensor and Throttle position sensor .

HI ,
Is there any way to test the knock sensor with an ohm meter ? I have a 1987 4runner and I'm getting codes ,"11" Which is "neutral start switch on or idl in throttle position is off during diagnostic test" and then ,"12" and that says "Knock sensor has not reached judgment level in succession" . I went to adjust the tps the other day. I had the directions and a multimeter to adjust it ,but when I went to turn the tps it would go straight from .001 ohms to 1. ohms .. There is no in between .I double check to make sure I was probing the right terminals, so does this mean the tps needs replaced ?
Thanks for any help you gave give .

-Rob

Well ,I figured it out . Pretty both of them are pretty much bad . Why both sensor went out at the same time ? Who knows. I think I'll take the 22 re out and junk it . Then put in a 305 big block that's in the monte carlo ..
