knock sensor help please!

knock sensor help please!
Ive taken the upper intake off so far and found where the knock sensor wire is coming out of the block to a connector.
When I get the lower intake off , how is the wire with the connectors sopposed to fit through the small hole in the block?

it doesn't go through the block it goes between the intake and the block. There is a notch in the block that the wire lies in. Once you take the intake mani off, the wire will be free from the block.
