Just fired it up

Just fired up freshly rebuilt 22re in my '86 Toy. It fired right up but won't stay running and when you touch the gas it kills it instantly. What do I need to check first?

Check the VAFM on the air intake. Is it plugged in?

Check the TPS sensor, is it hooked up?

All the plug wires plugged in?

I will look again but I did spend lots of time checking all that, but hey, I have made mistakes before.

Ok, I think my neighbor called it. I did not have the breather hooked up. I put the tube on it with a new filter and it fired right up and ran this time.

I need to put a timing light on it and it will be finished. It is running great just timed by ear. Very pleased and you guys are awesome with your knowledge and quick responses.
