great work man! i hope the uv resistance is good; red fades easiest.
there's an FJ Cruiser in the town where i work that has been line-x'd red. yours looks just as good. she told me it cost about $3k.
yep.

2 gallons + 2 quarts of activator + 2 pints of paint for color.
You have to do multiple coats. I tried the front 2 fenders in one coat and dicked it up.
Had to scrape the stuff off quick and re-spray since you only have one hour from the time you mix the activator in it to spray.
You spray close in 5-10 " away on a light first coat, then come back later when you are done with the rest of the truck and spray in a second coat just to get the thin spots, then use your last quart or two to add the texture you want from about 2-3 feet away.
I basically sprayed the last coat from about 3 feet away to get rid of any banding so the entire job looks uniform. It was harder than I thought, but if I do another one, it should go better.
According to the manufacturer, petroleum based products fade quickly and turn white and chalky, urethane based products "like this" don't .
That being said, I don't expect them to tell me the product sucks.
One gallon should do a bed of a truck no problem, and the tintable liner is clear.
It looks just like vasoline before you put your color in it. Pretty weird.

that looks awesome
i had thought it would bind at the doors due to thickness, but apparently not.
are those the stock rims? I painted mine too and plan on putting my 31's on them.
